The Tacks XF Pro skate is crafted with innovative FORS Composite. This construction uses premium raw materials, weaved together with a high-end core to improve the weight to stiffness ratio. This creates a skate that’s lighter with a sustained stiffness profile for increased durability and long-term performance. Force and explosiveness are amplified in every stride with superior energy transfer that only a one-piece boot can provide.
The one-piece boot power is found in the AS-V Pro skate, but in the XF Pro you will also find Game Ready Fit. Designed for power and acceleration, the game-ready fit is an improved out-of-the-box comfort and fit, designed to take your performance to the next level.
Another new feature in the XF Pro skate, that was adopted from the FT6 Pro, is the ADPT comfort tongue with Flex Motion. This tongue is lightweight with a metatomic fit, while the flexmotion prevents lace-bite giving you the perfect combination of fit and performance.
An improvement on this year’s Tacks line is the tendon guard. CCM designed a tendon guard with a higher flex point, adding more rigidity for better extension in your strides. It is made with the same premium carbon material as the quarter package, Fors Composite, adding protection, durability and weight reduction.
For optimal comfort, CCM has incorporated ADPT memory foam inside the skate and in the footbed. This memory foam is dense, giving you a customized feel as soon as you put on the skate.
Helping with the custom feel is the Total Dri-Pro liner with responsive foam and polygiene. The Total-Dri Pro liner is a high-performance moisture wicking material that keeps your feet dry and skates light. The responsive foam hugs your feet throughout the boot. The polygiene is an antimicrobial treatment that fights odor and bacteria.
CCM uses their top-end STEP Blacksteel runner on the XF Pro. This is the highest quality of steel with carbon coated technology for superior edge hardness and phenomenal glide.
